Melanie is the BIM Manager for Jasmax, with 20 years of experience in the industry. She has extensive experience working in a wide range of projects across Australasia from retail design to major sports stadiums. She has worked extensively with Revit since Jasmax adopted BIM in 2005 and was integral in the introduction of Revit in the practice. Melanie lists implementing office standards and protocols across Jasmax’s 200-strong practice as one of her many achievements. Her passion for developing systems and protocols to enhance the delivery of projects has aided the increased efficiency of BIM across the practice, and further extended her own knowledge into the industry. Based on her experiences and extensive BIM knowledge, Melanie has seen that the New Zealand Constructionindustry can benefit significantly from the adoption of working in a collaborative BIM environment. Melanie was the Chairperson of the Revit User Group in Auckland between 2010 and 2013 and continues her involvement as an active committee member. Melanie was also a contributor towards the development of the ANZRS (Australian New Zealand Revit Standards) and the NZ BIM Handbook.
