ARCHICAD PRACTICE GROUP
The AUSTRALIAN PRACTICE GROUP for ARCHICAD users is a mechanism to increase the engagement and opportunities to build a stronger ARCHICAD community. The main focus is on forming local practice / user groups where ideas and problems can be shared and discussed on a bi-monthly or quarterly basis.
The benefits from joining the group are as follows

We support open BIM for the built environment community. Sharing thoughts, knowledge and information about people, process, policy and technology .
The non-profit group meets quarterly and aims to provide a range of topics from managerial, technical through to business and aspirational.
The group believes in providing an avenue for clients, practitioners, contractors, asset managers and interested parties to come together in an informal gathering to discuss, learn, and share from others in the industry.

BIM SOUTH ISLAND NEW ZEALAND
BIMSiNZ is a not for profit group based in Christchurch, New Zealand that seeks to bring together the built environment community of the South Island of New Zealand, to share and exchange knowledge and experience relating to technology and innovation across the Architecture, Engineering, Construction and Operations and Maintenance industry, with a particular focus on BIM and its use across each sector.
To achieve our goals, a bi-monthly event will be hosted at a Christchurch location with leading industry practitioners invited to present on a wide-range of topics. BIMSiNZ events are free to attend and include education-based presentations from industry leaders on a wide range of BIM-related subjects.
These events provide an excellent opportunity to network and engage with other professionals from backgrounds including Architecture, Engineering, Construction, Facility Management, Manufacturing, Planning, Quantity Surveying, Software Development/Vendors, Education and Government. Clients are also encouraged to attend events to share their experiences and gain knowledge and understanding of how BIM can positively affect their projects.

The non-profit group intends to meet bi-monthly and provide a range of topics from technical, managerial through to business and aspirational. We will be seeking speakers from a wide variety of backgrounds. We welcome sponsors to help provide an atmosphere of support and openness in our meetings.
MelBIM is a not for profit group based in Melbourne, Australia that seeks to bring together the built environment community of Victoria, to share and exchange thoughts and knowledge relating to technology and innovation across the AEC+FM industry, with a particular focus on BIM.
The primary vehicle for achieving our objectives is the hosting of a bi-monthly event held at RMIT, Swanston Academic Building (SAB), City Campus. MelBIM events are free to attend and include education-based presentations from industry leaders on a wide range of BIM-related subjects.
Attendees of these events are provided a fantastic opportunity to network and engage with other professionals from backgrounds including Architecture, Engineering, Construction, Facility Management, Manufacturing, Planning, Quantity Surveying, Software Development/Vendors, AEC Services, Product Sales / Retail, Education and Government.
RUGSA stands for the REVIT Users Group of South Australia.
The group is run by a committee of users established in April of 2010.
RUGSA is a forum for any and all users to come together and share knowledge, information and even frustrations.
SYDBIM is a grass roots initiative to facilitate information exchange and interaction amongst the AEC professions and industries of the greater Sydney region in respect to applied technological innovation.
We provide 5 free sponsored events per year with typically 4 speakers from diverse AEC backgrounds.
We seek to promote other relevant industry events and give material support to user groups through our event and website.
